Priyanka Chopra Reveals The Real Reason For Hiding People's Identities In Her Memoir, Unfinished
Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ memoir, Unfinished has been the talk of the town ever since its release; and its content has caught everyone’s attention. From being the Miss World to a Bollywood actor, singer, film producer and Hollywood star, Priyanka has detailed every part of her life - but chose not to reveal any names. She even shed light on her journey, from growing up in India and the US. However, it seems some believe that the 39-year-old actress hasn’t been completely honest - at least about the names. During a recent interaction, Priaynka was quizzed if she was tempted to reveal people's identities in the book. The actress quickly denied it and added that her book is about her and not others.

“It is no one else's story but mine. It says Priyanka's Memoir, right, so my story. It's actually really funny. I read a few reviews that said that 'oh it wasn't, she didn't speak the truth about things like that.' I was like, ‘oh so basically you wanted a gossip brag in my book. You wanted it to be a tell-all.’ I'm not Stardust,” Priyanka pointed out at a literature festival.

Priyanka, while discussing her memoir 'Unfinished' with Vinita Dawra Nangia, described the process of writing the book as both exhilarating and exhausting.

“That's the thing, I'm really grateful that my book is a no. 1 bestseller around the world without it being salacious because I don't respond to that, I'm not that person. I believe in having grace. And a lot of media doesn't,” she added.

The actress has also penned a few unfortunate incidents that she experienced at the start of her Bollywood career; however, she refrained from revealing any names. Of the many incidents she spoke about, Priyanka also shared that a director had asked her to get a ‘boob job’ and other cosmetic enhancements when she was still starting off as an actor.

To note, global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been an inspiration to many artistes, and the stories of her struggle have encouraged others to cross the hurdles.

Meanwhile, on the Bollywood front, Priyanka was last seen in filmmaker Ramin Bahrani's 'The White Tiger' co-starring Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav. She also recently announced her next project, a road trip film titled ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ which also stars Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in the lead.

Priyanka Chopra also has a few Hollywood projects in the pipeline - director Jim Strouse’s ‘Text For You’, Indian wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling and ‘Matrix 4’ with Keanu Reeves followed by a film based on the life of Maa Anand Sheela in her kitty.
